TEHRAN (FNA)- Governor of Shahr-e Qods Leila Vaseqi dismissed the rumors about an explosion in the West of Tehran early Friday morning.
Vaseqi rejected rumors about any explosion in Shahr-e Qods and Garmadareh.
"The power outage also occurred in a limited area for five or six minutes, and power outages did not occur extensively," Vaseqi said while dismissing rumors about any explosion in Shahr-e Qods and Garmdareh regions near Tehran.
On Friday morning, rumors started in a coordinated manner by some media accounts about blasts and a massive power outage in Shahr-e Qods, West of Tehran. Later reports showed that there had been no blast in the region.
